Windows Home Server SDK Released

Thu, Apr 5, 2007 | Terry Walsh

Charlie Kindel has just announced the release of an SDK (Software Development Kit) for Windows Home Server.

Whilst all the developer boffin-stuff is actually beyond the scope of this particular blog (and indeed, my brain) the headline is that third-party developers will now be able to write new applications and add-ins to create new functionality for Windows Home Server. So in the future (and who knows, maybe even for release) not only will Windows Home Server deliver a great set of features in the box, there’ll be a bunch of additional applications you can install to get even more out of Windows Home Server.

Egg-heads can find out more at: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa306570.aspx

Everyone else (me included) can sit back and wait for those applications to flow through!
