Tech-Ed No Show

Tue, Jun 5, 2007 | Terry Walsh

I mentioned over the weekend that I was surprised to see a Windows Home Server session on the schedule at TechEd 2007, given its business focus.

Apparently, I was not as surprised as the scheduled speaker, who failed to appear! Josh from Windows Connected reports:

Next on the agenda was a talk by the Windows Home Server team and I was stoked to see this on the agenda as it has been one product I have been really looking forward too this year. However, after spending 30 minutes waiting for the presenter to show the staff finally told the 200 or so attendees that they were unable to locate him and so they would reschedule the session for later in the week. Unfortunately, that means that most of the people who wanted to see about the product will now have to miss the session. I will post any info they share on a when the session gets rescheduled.

Let’s hope they make the next one!
