Alternative Wake On Lan Add-in for Windows Home Server

Mon, Jun 11, 2007 | Terry Walsh

Marcel Nouwens has been a busy guy! Further to releasing his µTorrent add-in today, he’s also released a Wake on LAN add-in that allows you to wake up computers on your home network from the Windows Home Server Console.

Wake on LAN Add-in

Features:

Wake up any client that is connected to the Home Server.
Automatically refreshes the list of clients when a client is (dis)connected/added/removed.
Doesn’t display technical information to the user, it looks just like the “Computers & Backup” tab.
Does not rely on Interop.WHSInfoIF.dll.

This is an alternative to a similar add-in by Evangelos Hadjichristodoulou.
