Thu, Jul 12, 2007 | Terry Walsh

A rendered prototype image of the Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo Home Server prototype hardware was released today on the web by German magazine, chip.de

The system actually looks a little like a small projector, and chip.de reports that it will be listed at around 700 euros, which contradicts yesterday’s reports of a 500 euro price point.

The image seems to confirm once and for all that Fujitsu-Siemens will be launching a Home Server system later in the year.

Thanks to Lars for the tip-off on the prototype image.
