Following Monday’s announcement that Fujitsu-Siemens and Iomega will be launching Windows Home Server-based hardware in the Autumn, Engadget today reports that Velocity Micro will be joining the fun in a few months time.
The Velocity Micro Home Server can be positioned horizontally or vertically (great for small cupboards, but remember that ventilation!), and according to the gadget people, come loaded with an “Intel Conroe-like processor with DDR2 RAM, have SATA II (with NCQ), gigabit Ethernet, eSATA, and will launch at an “extremely competitive price”".
So, the WHS ecosystem grows once again - good on you, Velocity!
