Has Your homserver.com Domain Been Reserved?

Fri, Aug 10, 2007 | Terry Walsh

The WHS Team have just announced that if you previously registered a personalised livenode.com (e.g. wegotserved.livenode.com) through the Windows Home Server Beta before August 3rd 2007, it will automatically be transferred over to a homeserver.com domain (wegotserved.homeserver.com) when you install the RTM (release to manufacturing) version of Windows Home Server.

Any future domains registered with the RC version of WHS will be livenode.com domains, whereas if you’re lucky enough to have a copy of RTM, any domains registered from August 3rd will be a homeserver.com domain.

Well, I’m guessing some MS people, a few OEMs, and maybe some MVPs. Who knows? But don’t worry, I don’t have it and neither does the rest of us! :-)
