European Online Retailers Start Listing Windows Home Server OEM

Over the weekend, more European online retailers listed the System Builder software-only version of Windows Home Server, in Sweden, Norway and Belgium.

Belgium: Execute.be 142 euros (French Version) (£96.29)
Sweden: komplett.se 1995 Kronor (£144.28)
UK: Novatech £86.95
Norway: pcutstyr.no 1665 Kroner (£141.85)
Switzerland: techmania.ch 190.90 Swiss Francs (£78.83)

Those of you in the UK will be interested to learn that Novatech are now taking orders at a far cheaper price than currently listed at ebuyer.com.

    It’s funny that the Novatech site lists the minimum CPU at 233Mhz. I think there a little off.

    It also says the medium is CD-Rom, not DVD.

    I spoke to Novatech, it is not in stock currently and their version comes on CD. Disappointing.

    Well, no-one in Europe has it in stock yet….! :-)

    I’d be very surprised if Novatech had a different version to anyone else - it’ll be a DVD plus 2 CDs like everywhere else, I’m sure.

    Well Ebuyer now have the following on their web site so we need to wait and see what the pricing is like

    “Update: The stock is expected with our suppliers for the 1st week of Sept, and we will take delivery shortly after. Pricing has still to be confirmed.”
