Whilst Lacie appear to be absent from today’s Windows Home Server Press Preview in Berlin, Microsoft did reveal that their system will hit the market in November.
Here’s the league table of who’s releasing when (in Europe). HP are skipping the holiday period completely over here.
Hi - I'm Terry and I'm the Owner of We Got Served. The site's been covering everything to do with Windows Home Server since February 2007.
I live in Silverstone, UK with my wife and when I'm not working on We Got Served, I have a career as an Innovation Consultant to contend with.
Hi Terry, I’m currently drafting a business plan to address HomeServer market. I don’t entirely agree with the concept of HomeServer idea by most of these IT companies such as HP, LaCie and Microsoft. What they need to do is to address the society as a whole by making one single box that consolidates most house-hold appliance. I find this market space very interesting but it’ll take another 3-5years before it becomes popular with the common man.
I would like to hear your opinion but I’m much keener on collaborating with likeminded people.
Regards, Dee
