Over in Denver, the CEDIA exhibition is well under way. CEDIA is the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association and their yearly shindig is where you’ll find a lot of high-end home electronics solutions announced.
In amongst various announcements regarding Windows Media Center, CableCARD systems and WMC extenders, Life|ware yesterday announced support for Windows Home Server with their new Life|storage digital media server.
Whilst details are still sketchy, the system includes 4 hot swappable drives held in a 4 bay rack mounted system with RAID 5 support. The unit is powered by an Intel 3.4GHz Pentium D.
