Windows Home Server Release Documentation Released

Fri, Sep 28, 2007 | Terry Walsh

Looks like we’re really starting to gear up now for the “official” availability date for the Windows Home Server OEM software on October 1st. Microsoft have today issued late-breaking release documentation for the RTM release, which includes the following overview:

This document contains late-breaking information to help you set up and run Windows Home Server.
It is divided into three sections:

  • Pre-Installation contains information you need before you install.
  • Installing contains information about Setup.
  • Post-Installation lists any issues that affect how the product functions. Information may also be included to correct or enhance performance, reliability, or security.

The document itself was actually written in July 2007, and most beta testers will be generally aware of its content. Worth a download and read through before you install RTM, though, just in case.
