I just got off the phone with a few people from HP’s US and European operations, and they kindly filled me in on full release details for the HP MediaSmart Server in both the US and Europe.
Sadly, the deal is that the information is under wraps until Monday, November 5th so make sure you drop by then to find out when you can get your hands on the unit.

Yep - it’s just arrived at HP UK, but I’ve asked them to delay sending it a few days as I’m over in San Francisco right now with work….

Beside my thesis I am not doing much more than dreaming of of the HP….
