We Got Served

Would you like join the We Got Served team and have thousands of WHS owners read your opinions?

Established in February 2007, We Got Served was the first Windows Home Server community site on the internet and has a global audience of tens of thousands of readers each month seeking the latest news and reviews in the home server world.

WGS is the place the community visits to check out the latest news of WHS add-ins, and our comprehensive add-in list is the most visited page on the site. In 2008, we want to extend our coverage of community add-in development with full reviews of all Windows Home Server add-ins developed this year, as well as future add-ins published in 2008 and beyond. 

We’re looking for two people to write short (500-1000) word reviews of community add-ins for Windows Home Server on an ongoing basis.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people with a strong community spirit, who want to contribute and help build the Windows Home Server community.

You should be knowledgable, excited and passionate about Windows Home Server and digital home technologies, with either previous writing experience (online or published) or an innate talent waiting to be unleashed on the world! You should be prepared at reasonably short notice to install newly published add-ins and put them through their paces, before crafting a well-written review with screenshots outlining the major features and usage experience of the add-in and offering a clear point of view to WGS readers of each add-in’s merits (and failures!).

What do you get?

At this point in time, both positions are offered on a voluntary basis, but writing for We Got Served will boost your profile and get your name known in the Windows Home Server community. Your opinions will also be read (and hopefully valued!) by tens of thousands of readers each month, including representatives from all major WHS hardware and software businesses. Best of all, you have the opportunity to support the development of the Windows Home Server community in the exciting year to come. You will have first dibs on any WHS swag/freebies that are sent through to us too.
