Fujitsu-Siemens today launch their Scaleo Home Server micro site, a Flash site which outlines the features and benefits of the new Scaleo Home Server. The product is set to ship in Europe at the end of January/early February 2008.
If you’ve been hanging on for more details on the Scaleo Home Server, you can find out more on the site. We’re hoping to get a review unit to try out next month.

I found the power management description on the final page of their presentation interesting. The folks “across the pond” seem to place a higher value on this aspect of server operation than the American vendors, although all the commercial home servers are designed to be low-profile in terms of energy usage. Bravo Siemens!

I take it this is not going to be released in the US?

I believe this will be Europe only, but the Velocity Micro NetMagix uses the same chassis and is available in the USA.
