Site Updates

Apologies to everyone who tried to access WGS this morning only to find the site feeling a little poorly - no, it’s wasn’t post-CES flu, but rather I managed to break the site template in the search for a small formatting bug this morning. Basically, all the posts apart from the first one were appearing in bold - I forensically narrowed down the issue to a Wordpress plugin, so decided to switch it off, forgetting of course that I’d adjusted the site template to call the plugin, which now wasn’t there. Hence… gloop!

What’s more, I didn’t realise until a couple of people (thanks Phill and Andrew) pinged me and I got out of a series of meetings at work, so we were out for about 8 hours. If you’re in the US you were probably in bed anyway :-)

So, as punishment, I’m spending this evening delving through template code to fix the bug manually. Who said running a blog was easy?

Thanks for you patience - normal service is now resumed!

Update (3.5 mins later): Now fixed - a missing “</b>”. Slightly embarrassed :-)
