We Got Served

Now that we have a few more contributors in place at WGS, it’s time to announce our next exciting new feature here at We Got Served…. the WGS Forums!

I wanted to wait until we had a decent sized readership before launching forums here at WGS - there’s nothing worse than having a forum that no-one uses! The forums are really all about you guys - your opportunity to meet, discuss, support and share your views with other Windows Home Server users as well as help out those thinking of buying a home server with your knowledge and expertise. 

Over at the forum you’ll find sections to discuss Windows Home Server news that we post here at WGS, as well as support forums for various areas of Windows Home Server, WHS Hardware from OEMs and a forum for self-builders to discuss their systems, Commercial Software (such as Avast Anti-Virus, Diskeeper etc) and we also have separate forums for each community add-in that has been released to date to help the community support add-in development and usage. Finally we have an area to discuss other devices that you’re connecting to your home network, such as digital photo frames, digital media receivers and so on.

I really hope you find hanging out on the forums with other WHS users fun and have the opportunity to help each other out from time to time. I’m sure I and a few of out other WGS contributors will be there often to help out.

Thanks to everyone who came along to help out our private beta test this week - you shared some great ideas, and your feedback helped me finalise the design and structure of the forums for everyone. I’d welcome everyone’s feedback on the forums - please feel free to add a comment here, or send me a PM via the forums.
