The folks over at Diskeeper Corporation have posted instructions on their company blog that gives in depth guidance on how to accomplish an installation of Diskeeper 2008 for Windows Home Server.

They readily admit, as pointed out by several of their customers, that there is very little in the documentation that accompanies the downloaded files of Diskeeper 2008.

I was in the process of re-installing my copy of Diskeeper 2008 for WHS when I realized myself that there was not anything in the docs on how to get it installed.  A quick Google search produced this blog entry and we wanted to make sure you all had quick reference to it as well from WGS.

They do mention in the blog entry that the complete instructions should be included in the digital download of the software now.

I have served for 26 plus years in the Navy and am a Master Chief Petty Officer. My work background in the Navy is telecommunications related so my hobby of computers fit well in what I did for the Navy. I consider myself a tech geek and enjoy most things in that arena. My first website - AnotherWin95.com - came online in 1996. Back then I used GeoCities Web Hosting for it and have all the GeoCities “stuff” to show for it! I started beta testing with Microsoft during the late Beta 1 phase of Vista in Jan 2006 and have slowly gotten involved with the testing community in several programs.
