PerfectDisk 2008 to Include 10 Client Home Site License

Sun, Jan 20, 2008 | Terry Walsh

A new edition of Raxco’s disk defragmentation software, PerfectDisk 2008 for Windows Home Server will arrive next week with a new “home site” license that will allow up to 10 clients to use the software (up from the existing edition’s 5 client maximum). This matches the maximum number of clients that can be installed on a Windows Home Server based network.

From what we gather, there will not be a price increase in PD 2008, so it’s a “five clients for free” kind of deal!

More news as we get it…

I found another code in the related post that is supposed to be worth 20% off - WEGOTSERVED20. It is supposed to be valid till the end of 2008. I’m waiting for the launch day.

In the past PerfectDisk 8 was excellent, today I would want to see how it compares against O&O Defrag 10, in terms or defragmentation quality, and defragmentation times.
