Komplett Home Server

Over in Norway, European online retailer Komplett has recently released their cunningly named Komplett Home Server - a white label chassis with the following base specification:

Chassis: Chieftec Aegis Midi Tower Black, ATX/EATX, w/USB/Firewire (Without PSU)
PSU: Chieftec ATX 400W, 120mm Vifte, A-PFC, 2xSATA, PCI-E, 20/24pin
Motherboard: MSI P6NGM-FD, nForce-630i+GF7100, m-ATX Socket-775, DDR2, DVI, GbLAN, PCI-Ex16
Processor: Intel Pentium® Dual-Core E2160 1.8GHz, Socket LGA775, 1MB, 800MHz, BOXED w/fan
RAM: Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 1024MB 128Meg x 64, CL5, 667MHz, 240-pin
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB, SATA-300, 32MB, 7200RPM

The base price is 4995 NOK (£465) and there’s a dazzling array of upgrade options available. So, if you’re Norwegian and in the market for a home server, Komplett has a little something for you.

    In Norwegian Komplett means complete so the proper english name of the server would be Complete Home Server which is kind of neat and corny at the same time :-)
