If you’ve been holding on for the Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo Home Server, then your wait is almost over. The system will be shipping from Fujitsu-Siemens’ Soemmerda factory tomorrow for the German market, and then UK systems will be heading over this way from February 27th.

Quick specs in case you’ve forgotten (I have):

  • Microsoft® Windows® Home Server
  • 4 drive bays, pre-installed with one or two 500 GB hard disks or two 750 GB hard disks
  • 512 MB DDR2 RAM and 256 MB flash memory

      Haha woot!

      I came across this a while ago, and the power saving/low power mentality really caught my interest, since I’m interested in solar power etc.
      Hopefully we’ll get some prices soon.
