There will be two models available to order - the Scaleo Home Server 1500 (datasheet) and the more powerful Scaleo Home Server 1900 (datasheet).

Network: Gigabit LAN
USB: 2 x USB 2.0 (Front) + 2 x USB 2.0 (Rear)
eSATA: 2 x eSATA (Rear)
Accessories: Quick Start Guide, Manual, Power Cable, LAN Cable, Recovery DVDs/CDs + Application CDs
Dimensions:  122 x 406 x 336mm (H x W x D)

Both systems come with additional software, including PacketVideo’s TwonkyMedia streaming software, Scaleo Power Management add-in (which allows you to control when your server is available) and a Hardware Monitoring Application which checks fan speeds and temperatures with alerts sent out if required.

Here in the UK, you’ll soon be able to order the systems at Nice PC or directly via Fujitsu-Siemens’ website. The company are in talks with other retailers in the UK, so you may see the hardware pop up at retail too.

Pricing has been set at £399 inc VAT for the 1500 and £469 in VAT for the 1900, with delivery extra.

We should have a unit through in the next two weeks, so look out for the WGS review.

does the 1900 have 4 or 5 bays total? typo?

I’m looking forward to Terry’s review, what I find a little bit strange is that there is no (so it seems) decision about the processor.
And another thing is, does the 1900 has a secret room hidden in its casing there seems to be an extra space if you compare it to the 1500 for a hhd
