As part of the launch of the new Windows Media Center v2 Extenders, Microsoft are holding a competition in which one lucky winner can have their digital lives transformed from their current frustrated, disconnected experience to a digital enthusiast’s dream with $10,000 worth of new kit, including a new PC with Windows Media Center, Extenders for Windows Media Center, flat screen television and video-capable wireless home networking kit.

To be in with a shout of winning, shoot a two minute video illustrating how disconnected your digital life currently is (make sure you mention Media Center’s lack of synergy with WHS!) and why you need a digital makeover. Submit your videos at http://www.windowsmediacenter.com/contest before April 18th and then look out for the winner’s announcement which will be held before April 30th 2008. As usual, the competition is US only (this is generally for legal reasons), so I won’t be winning this one!
