People often ask “what commercial software and community add-ins should I be using and how good are they?” so from March we have provided the option for you to rate each of the Commercial Software and Community Add-Ins for Windows Home Server in the WGS Forums - at the end of June it will be time for a progress report on how the polls are running and we’d like to encourage you to cast your vote.
We last updated you on the results in April. So please visit the threads for each product in the Software for Windows Home Server & the Community Add-Ins sections of the WeGotServed forums for each of these products and cast your vote for your favourite software to extend your WHS experience.
We’ve also been surveying members in the WGS Forums since January as to what WHS system they are using to build a picture of the trends that are developing in terms of hardware platforms - the last time we reported results was in April. It’s interesting to see what our members use - what they’re using to build their own systems and which of the OEM systems are being purchased.
We now have over 470 votes registered in the WHS systems poll and we’d like to see more responses - with over 2610 members on the WGS Forums now I am sure we can get some more votes. For those of you who have changed systems since voting or use a different OEM system not currently listed just send me a message with the change required and I’ll update the votes.
