Gridjunction, a Uninterruptible Power Supply management add-in for Windows Home Server has been in beta since early last month. This add-in has been rated very highly by our members with 83% of those voting in our satisfaction poll rating it as “It’s the Best - Install It Now”.
GridJunction is an easy to use Windows Home Server Add-in for managing an Uninterruptable Power Supply Battery Backup System via the Windows Home Server Console. GridJunction integrates seamlessly to issue power alerts and help protect Windows Home Server from power problems such as brownouts, or blackouts by safely powering down the Windows Home Server when battery levels reach a set threshold.
Developer Alexander Kent has just announced the avaiabliltiy of GridJunction 1.1.0.0 Beta which is availabe for download by registered beta participants from the WGS private forum (password required) setup to support the beta group. If you aren’t registred for the beta you can contact Alexander on his www site here and he might be able to add you.
Changes introduced in this beta include:
- Revised: Windows Home Server Shutdown graceful methodology
- Revised: event notifications and logging system
- Windows Events auditing improvement
- Fixed: battery name issue
- Fixed: Event hyperlinks in client environments
- Fixed: Battery Critical event raised when battery levels reach within 10% relative to shutdown margin
- Fixed: Critical Error! Please try to uninstall and re-install GridJunction message at shutdown
- Fixed: Battery Name Exception or Generic Failure
- Added: Windows UPS Battery Alerts deactivation
- Serial RS232 connections are no longer supported; USB connection is required

I installed this addin and it looks and works great.
Amazing work
