James West-Sadler at J.W. Sadler Design Ltd has annouced a new add-in for Windows Home Server -LogPoint Performance Monitor which leverages Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to produce some simple performance graphs.

The performance monitor creates a graphical representation of performance data. The software has been written as an Windows Home Server add-in, allowing you to easily deploy the application and can be downloaded from here for free.
One caveat that the author has advised is that it currently doesn’t stop monitoring when you close down the console – he is looking into this issue but want’s to get it released to the community to give you the opportunity to check it out.
They are in the process of finalising the development of a Windows Home Server LogPoint Management Console. This will give you most of the LogPoint functionality on your Windows Home Server network; allowing you to monitor and manage the devices on your network.
We have set up a thread in the WGS forums in the Windows Home Server Add-ins area so you can discuss LogPoint and rate it.
