What WHS Commercial Software and Community Add-Ins Do You Use and How Do They Rate?

The level of support for the WHS environment by commercial and enthusiast developers continues to grow – more and more appear each week and We Got Served tracks them providing download links and forums to discuss your experiences with them - we are lucky to have many of the authors participating in the forums also.

At the beginning of March we added the option for you to rate each of the Commercial Software and Community Add-Ins for Windows Home Server - it’s time for another progress report on how the polls are running.

Thanks to those of you who have voted – and if you don’t think your favourite add-in is rated correctly then make sure you go in and vote so your views are counted next time.

Please visit the threads in the Software for Windows Home Server & the Community Add-Ins sections of the WeGotServed forums for each of these products and cast your vote for your favourite software to extend your WHS experience.

There’s some new entrants to our leader boards this time around including recently released F-Secure Home Security (in beta with release candidate available) and GridJunction (new beta V1.1 now available).

It’s difficult to summarise all of the results as some of the products only received a few votes but here are the “lists” that might help you decide on just what software to consider for your WHS.

I'm from Sydney, Australia and have been involved with the WGS Forums since their inception in January 2008. I have been "playing" with digital entertainment products for the last 3 years. I run my main WHS on a recycled Dell system and Vista Media Centre on a self build with an XBOX360 extender. I am an enthusiast as opposed to a technical user.
