I built my own WHS. I have an XP Tablet laptop and an HP Vista 64 Ultimate laptop. The XP laptop does a daily backup. However, the Vista 64 Ultimate doesn’t. They’re both configured the same so I’m not sure what the problem is. I think Microsoft needs to look into this some more.

Hi, I built my own WHS from an my old workstation. It presently has just under a terrabyte spread over 5 disks. Connected are two workstations running XP and 4 Laptops running XP Media, 2 x Vista Home, Vista Business. To date (touch wood) I have not had any problems with the data corruption issues. I have installed the Power Pack Beta test and have even been running some of the experiments suggested to test the beta, and have had no problems. My only complaint so far is that you should be able to tell WHS that the client machine is a laptop, which is more likely to be disconnected from the backup for extended periods.
