Media Center University Expands Again

Though there is some debate about whether Microsoft truly understands which market to develop Media Center for, Microsoft is certain that it wants to reach out to professional consumer electronics installers.  Microsoft hosted a program called Media Center University at the Spring Electronic House Expo in Orlando last April as part of an effort to educate professional CE installers about the potential of Media Center in professional installations.  The best part was that Microsoft recorded the Media Center University presentations and has been slowly releasing these recordings through the Consumer Electronics Installer Blog.

Part 4 in the series has gone live and is available in both audio and video formats.

Although these presentation recordings could benefit from some higher production standards and a few more microphones in the room to ensure that attendee questions could be heard, there is some good info to be had.  If you are just getting started with Media Center and trying to decide how to plan a deployment for a entire house then Media Center University will definitely help.
