Looks liek the storage available on the unit isn’t the most generous, but upgrades are available to 1 or 2Tb and  you do get a small, compact footprint (75mm x 195mm x 185mm), low power consumption at just 26.8W and low noise output at 22dB. There are plans to sell an optional external hard drive too for additional storage/backup.

That’s $725 USD…. Not exactly inexpensive given the specs.

This… is exactly the form factor I have been looking for… for an HTPC. As a home server, the storage is minuscule for a “server” (I have run out of space on my 500GB MS and need to go get some TB drives) the optical drive makes no sense when HP has shown it isn’t needed, and why offer the keyboard/mouse/etc? That would be for desktops, not servers. If you don’t have a machine that can remote access, what do you need the server for? Am I missing something?

However, if it has DVI or HDMI output and the graphics card is up to hi-def (just checked and it is capable of 1080p), all it would need is a BD Rom and it would be the perfect HTPC. Quiet, small, clean looking, and gigabit without having to load VMC on a Mac Mini. Dream come true for *that* purpose.

Kinda spendy for what you get. The HP model is a better deal.

Again with the 512MB RAM… Eesh.

    I think it’s beauteful. I want one!
