We Got Served

Asoft has released a brand new update for their popular add-in, AutoExit for Windows Home Server, which brings a whole host of power management capabilities to your home server.

New features:

· WOL Server from client is now possible. So waking up the server can now be done from every client.

· Gives a notification the first time the add-in starts up with a small instruction set.

Changes:

· The guideline is now a PDF instead of XPS.

· The guideline now more info, is more clear, up to date…

· Give the client installer a more understandable name. (autoexitclient.exe instead of aewhsclt.exe)

· Place the guideline & client installer in a separate folder. In the previous version these 2 files were copied to \\server\software, now these are copied to \\server\software\autoexit.

· The statistics are now sorted in descending order.

· When the client service wasn’t running, and the user clicked the link to restart it, then the status wasn’t always updated correctly.

· Hibernate/Sleep now supports force and wake up events. In the previous version, force was used by default and wake up events were disabled.

· The correct folder (software/logiciel) is chosen based on the language of the WHS.
