Just had an email through from Microsoft to let me know that they’ve renewed my Windows Home Server MVP award for 2009, which is a very kind gesture on their behalf.
Whilst We Got Served keeps me hugely busy, it’s great to be a part of the growing Windows Home Server community, and I’m so pleased with how WGS has grown in the past year into such a fantastic community resource for home server and digital home enthusiasts.
A huge thank you to all of our readers, writers, moderators, commenters, advertisers and posters all over the world - WGS wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for your passion and contributions.
Thanks too to the WHS team over at Microsoft for the award. It’s really brilliant to be part of such an amazing community of MVPs - here’s to another action-packed year!

any new MVPs? especially contributors here?

Congratulations — if that’s an appropriate response…
Seriously, this site is a great resource. I think what I enjoy here is the balance of technical expertise with sheer enthusiasm for the subject, and a down-to-earth presentation.
Reminds me of the “early days” of home computing, back in the mid-’80s, when there were little more than BBSes with connected fans.

I’m happy to report that I have been presented with a 2009 MVP Award for WHS! http://www.mediasmartserver.net/2008/10/02/2009-microsoft-mvp-for-windows-home-server/
Though I’m not as active here as I am on the MediaSmartServer.net forums, I do keep an eye on this site since we all know Terry has excellent coverage of all things WHS.
Congrats on another year, Terry!
