Interesting news today from Personal Computer World today, that Iomega have decided not to release their planned Windows Home Server product, but will instead release a Linux based NAS product. Iomega claim that the hardware logo requirements set by Microsoft are too high to allow Iomega to price their planned product low enough for their customers. More Info: [...]

As part of their “Stay at Home Server” campaign, Microsoft commissioned a children’s book called “Mommy, Why Is There a Home Server In The House”, which for some was the highlight of CES.
